  10.        BACKGROUND
  11.        
  12.        The Stacker interceptor redirects DOS compression-related
  13.        commands to their Stacker equivalents.  It is not effective with
  14.        Prentice Hall Financial Reporting.
  15.        
  16.        SOLUTION
  17.        
  18.        Disable the Stacker interceptor with the /I- switch.
  19.        
  20.        Modify your STACKER.INI file
  21.        
  22.         1. Insert Stacker Disk 1 into drive A or B.
  23.         2. Change to the floppy disk drive by typing A: (or B:) and
  24.            pressing <Enter>.
  25.         3. From the DOS prompt, type STACKER and press <Enter>.
  26.         4. Note the drive letter of the uncompressed drive which is
  27.            exchanged with C (your boot drive).  The drive letter is
  28.            displayed in the far right column.
  29.         5. From the DOS prompt, type
  30.        
  31.                 \TOOLS\STACINI drive:
  32.        
  33.            where drive: is the letter of the uncompressed drive.
  34.         6. Add the switch
  35.

  38.         7. Press Ctrl+Z to save the file.
  39.         8. Restart your computer.

  41.        Use the Stacker commands when needed.  For example, use SDEFRAG
  42.        rather than DEFRAG to optimize a Stacker drive.
